3rd Church of Christ Scientists Select Bosendorfer

The Bosendorfer – Our New Piano

I had heard of Baldwin and Steinway pianos before, but never Bosendorfer – until now.

Third Church of Christ, Scientist now has the only concert-sized Bosendorfer piano in the city of Dallas!  It was recently  “unwrapped” at a hymn sing  for our congregation to celebrate.

So what makes the Bosendorfer so special?   Founded in 1828, Bosendorfer ranks among the oldest piano makers in the world.  The Austrian piano manufacturer employs artisans and craftsmen who skillfully assemble each piano by hand.

The result is that every piano features excellent “action”  (the response of the instrument to the player’s touch), and a wonderful “singing tone.”  Because these pianos are not mass produced, they are of the highest quality and longevity.

Our organist, Scott Ayers, is thrilled to be able to play such a wonderful instrument.  Come to Third Church and check it out!

Testimonials

Dear Mr. Collora,

Midland Opera Theater and I wish to express our thanks to you for the magnificent pianos for the Paummill Concert. It was an incredible experience! We hope that you will be rewarded with good sales in the Permian Basin.

With deepest appreciation,

Edith Lisbon Hardy

Dear Peter,

Thank you for working on the piano at St. Philip's. It sounds much better now. Thanks also for the work you did on my piano at home--especially coming to fix the broken joint.

I feel so fortunate to be able to call on you for piano maintenance. I will be calling you in January to schedule further work on the piano at St. Philips.

Sincerely,

Bridget Ben

Phil;
I am writing you to let you know that Judy and I are most pleased with our recent purchase of the Hobart M Cable grand piano from Peter Collora Pianos. We have been looking for a grand piano for several years, hoping to find a used Steinway at a reasonable price. The only problem was that no Steinway that I played had the tone that we were looking for. We noticed on your website that you had a Baldwin grand at a reasonable price. I grew up playing on a Baldwin grand that my parents purchased in the early 1960’s. So I thought we should give it a try. Though we were disappointed in the sound and the action of the Baldwin, you allowed me to play every piano in the place and I certainly enjoyed playing such a wide variety of pianos from the Hobart M. Cable that we eventually bought to the nine foot Bosendorfer. Judy and I looked at and played a number of pianos at a number of proprietors but none had the variety of Peter Collora. Also, the salesman at one place was reminiscent of a used car salesman, very pushy, and another was rather condescending to Judy when she voiced her opinion on the sound she was seeking. There were a number of factors that led us to purchase the Hobart M. Cable piano including the rich but mellow sound that we were looking for, and at a price that easily met our budget needs, but the personal and personable service we received at Peter Collora made our decision easy. You and the staff at Peter Collora were most patient, helpful, and understanding in our making our decision and the cooperation on the delivery date and the efficiency of the delivery made us feel even more confident that we made the correct decision. I felt we were treated the same as if we had bought a piano for ten times the price. Though we are not likely to soon be making this sort of purchase again ourselves, we will certainly send everyone we know who is looking to purchase a piano your way. Thanks again for all your help.

Sincerely
Bob and Judy Koehl
